A:英文裡有兩個字可以表達挖角。
Headhunt,獵人頭,這是大家悉的字,並沒有負面的意思。
例如: Tina was headhunted by a large company. (Tina被一間大公司挖角了。)
Budget airlines race to recruit flight attendants.(廉價航空公司搶徵空服員)
「廉價」者,便宜是也,但是廉價航空的英文說法可不是cheap airlines,也不是相對較為便宜的「經濟艙位(economy class)」的economy,而是要用「預算」那個英文字的budget,所以「廉價航空(公司)」的說法是budget airlines!
budget的原意是「預算」,既然有預算就不能盲目開銷、大肆揮霍,所以budget衍生放在名詞前面,表示「廉價的」。
除了「budget airlines」的說法,廉價航空也可以稱為「low-cost airlines」。
